From fibre to touch, and from yarn to everyday life.

Material is more than a specification. We look at how yarn and structure shape touch, drape, light and use.

Wool: Origin & Responsibility

Understanding how origin, breed and certification shape wool into a textile with warmth and character.

01 / ORIGIN

Australian & New Zealand Wool

Australian wool is represented by breeds such as Merino, valued for fine fibres and elasticity that create soft, layered surfaces. New Zealand wool commonly includes types such as Corriedale, combining crimp, resilience and a clear silhouette for woven textiles with structure and warmth.

02 / RWS

RWS Responsible Wool

The Responsible Wool Standard is a voluntary Textile Exchange certification covering sheep welfare, grazing-land management and related social requirements, with chain-of-custody verification as certified material moves through the supply chain.

WANHE uses RWS responsible wool in applicable product programs. Certification claims remain subject to the valid certificate scope and transaction records for the relevant material batch.
